We are a friendly club, playing badminton on Monday and Wednesday nights (three courts each night) throughout the year, from 7.30pm until 10pm.
The main winter season runs from beginning September to end April.
We don't grade on ability but Monday nights tends to be stronger at the moment, with some of those members playing in the local Sutton & District league.
Matches are played on Thursday nights (two courts per match) from 7.15pm to 9.45pm at Aberdour School, Brighton Road, Burgh Heath KT20 6AJ.
Additionally, we run our own club tournaments throughout the winter season. We were formerly known as St. Andrews Badminton Club and records on our tournament trophies go back to 1939.
On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, during the winter season, we run junior sessions at schools in central Sutton.
For more details see our Juniors page including actual dates when they are playing, venue details and the parent's rota.
There is a ladies afternoon session running at St. Andrews Church, Northey Avenue, Cheam SM2 7HF. For more info contact Frances Southall.
We use Yehlex Premiership feather shuttles for most sessions.
